2025 Regional Title

Miss and Mr. Encore Title (Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen and Senior) will be awarded in each regional Encore City. Our Miss Encore winners will receive a beautiful tiara, Title Jacket and Glam’r Gear cross-body bag. Our Mr. Encore winners will receive a Glam’r Gear cross-body bag and Title Jacket.

Frequently Asked Questions – Title (Miss & Mr Encore)

What is Title?

All solos, Division 1 – Division 3, are eligible to participate in the Title Competition. Each dancer can enter up to (3) solo routines for Title. Routines will be judged during their regular solo performance
and will be entered into a separate award category. All Title contenders are still considered for overalls in their age/Division. Title awards are not solely judged on their dance ability. The judges are looking for a dancer who is
charismatic, poised and exudes the love of dance. Someone who will be a great representation and face for the Encore brand as well as your studio. Title awards will be given for the following: Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior. All dancers
in that age level need to compete prior to the award being presented.
**Title winners are not based on Division Level.

My dancer is only in group routines, can I still enter them for Title?

Only registered dancers performing a Solo can enter for Title as it is based on individual performance.

Is my dancer required to be present at the awards ceremony to win?

While we highly encourage dancers to be present at the awards ceremony of their specific age group, dancers are not required to be present to win. If any members of your studio are present, they can accept your award on your behalf. If none of your studio is present, we will mail your award to your studio the week following your event.

If I can't be present during the Title awards ceremony, is there an alternate way to watch?

Yes, if you are unable to be at the Title Ceremony for your dancer, you can tune in to Encore’s Live Stream via the DanceBUG app or via the Live Stream tab on Encore’s website.

Is my dancer required to give a speech or chat with the judges for the Regional Title Competition?

No, for Regional Title, dancers simply compete their solo as normal. All dancers that are signed up for Title will just receive a second score (in addition to the adjudicated score that all routines receive). Title winners are determined based on the Title score averaged between the 3 judges.

Is Title refundable if I change my mind?

Title is not refundable.

When is the latest I can sign my dancer up for Title?

All dancers must be signed up (form submitted and payment made at the Encore Boutique Front Desk at the event) no later than two hours prior to their dancers performance.

Is Title judged by Division Level?

Title is based on age, not Division. For additional information on how Title works, please see the first FAQ.

When can I sign my dancer up for Title?

You can register your dancer for Title ahead of time through your studio, or on-site at the Encore Boutique Front Desk. Dancers signed up at the event must be registered and paid for at least two hours prior to their scheduled performance time.
