Does my dancer have to have a solo to sign up for Photogenic/Cover Model?
No, any registered dancer (solo, group, etc.) can sign up for the Photogenic & Cover Model contests.
How do I sign my dancer up for Photogenic and/or Cover Model?
To sign your dancer up for Photogenic and/or Cover Model, just click the button at the top of the page and fill out the attached form. (Button only active/live once the season starts)
What is the difference between the Photogenic contest and Cover Model contest?
The Photogenic contest is for head shots and the Cover Model contest is for action shots.
Can my dancer enter for both Photogenic & Cover Model?
Yes, each dancer can enter up to 3 photos for each contest for a total of six photo entries. The sign-up form will allow you to enter up to 6 photos total per dancer.
How do the Photogenic and Cover Model contests work?
Simply sign your dancer up for a regional event at the button above (button only active once season starts – any Encore Dance Experience, or one of Encore’s Regional events) and pay the registration fee for submissions at the Encore Boutique Front Desk. Regional winners are announced the week following each event on Encore’s social media, so there is not an Awards that the entered dancers need to stay for. Awards will be shipped to each dancers studio the week following the event. National Photogenic & Cover Model winners are chosen from all Regional Winners and will be announced at National Finals–No additional entry fee or submission is required.
