Parking
There will be $10.00 self-parking for overnight guests and an hourly charge for attendees who are not staying at the Embassy Suites Frisco of $3.00 for each hour thereafter (up to a maximum charge of $10.00)
Valet parking is $28.00 per car, per day.
Venue Map & Wristbands
Each Dancer will need to wear a number and a wristband at all times throughout the weekend. All Teachers/Observers/Dancers will need to wear a wristband in order to enter any of the ballrooms.
Petite (ages 7 & under): (PINK) Frisco 3-5
Junior (ages 8-11): (ORANGE) Frisco 6
Teen (ages 12-14): (PURPLE) Frisco 7-9
Senior (ages 15+): (BLUE) Frisco 1-2
Teacher Wristbands: (GREEN) You are free to explore each class level with exception of Parent Classes.
Observer bands: (RED) Are available for pre-purchase or on-site at the Encore Boutique for $60.00. Observer Bands are not required for Parent Classes or the Final Wrap Party
Cover Model Contest & Photogenic

Encore’s Cover Model Photo Contest (Action Shots):
Regional Cover Model Winners will be featured on Encore’s Social Media and will automatically be entered for the National Cover Model Contest. Your dancer will also have the chance to be featured in our National Advertising Campaign for the 2027 Season. Potential opportunities include…. the chance to be featured in Encore’s Souvenir Program, Postcard, Website, Banners, etc. Submissions should be Action Shots ONLY. One or more dancers may be featured on the Souvenir Program cover for Encore’s 2027 Season. The cost per photo entered is $45. Each dancer can enter up to three (3) action photos for the Cover Model Photo Contest. Photo winners will be chosen in each age level (Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen & Senior). Photos (5×7 or 8×10, Color, Action Shots ONLY) can be submitted virtually at the link below, or submitted at the Encore Boutique Front Desk upon making payment. National Winners will be announced at Encore’s 2026 National Finals.
Photogenic (Headshots):
Regional Photogenic Winners will be featured on Encore’s Social Media and will automatically be entered for the 2026 National Photogenic Contest. National Photogenic Winners will be featured in Encore’s 2027 Print and Digital campaign and will be displayed on a banner in every City. Submissions should be Headshots ONLY. The cost per photo entered is $45. Each dancer can enter up to three (3) photos for the Photogenic Contest. Photogenic winners will be chosen in each age level (Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen & Senior). Photos (5×7 or 8×10, black and white or color, Headshots ONLY) can be submitted virtually at the link below, or submitted at the Encore Boutique Front Desk upon making payment. National Winners will be announced at Encore’s 2026 National Finals.

FAQ
1. What methods of payment will you be accepting at the Encore Boutique Front Desk? All major credit cards, and apple pay, will be accepted. No cash, please.
2. Do I need a wristband to enter the Convention Class ballrooms? Yes, for the safety of all dancers, a wristband will be required to enter the convention class ballrooms. Observer bands can be purchased at the Encore Boutique for $60, and will allow entry to each age convention class.
3. Do I need a wristband to attend the parent class or wrap party? No, observer bands are not required to attend the parent classes or wrap party. Parents are invited to attend parent classes and wrap party free of charge. Please note: Individuals without an observer wristband will need to vacate the ballroom once the parent class ends.
4. What additional scholarships or awards will be given at the Final Wrap on Sunday? Encore Dance Experience Scholarships will be awarded, along with “Encore Protege” Scholarships and our “Performers of the Weekend.” –so dancers from all age groups are encouraged to attend the Final Wrap!
5. Will Photo/Video-Taping be allowed in the Competition? In order to respect the privacy and safety of each individual dancer, studio and choreographer, there will be no photo/video allowed during competition.
6. Where do I get the Competition Schedule? The competition schedule will be available via the DanceBUG app starting Friday the weekend of the event. A complimentary paper copy of the competition schedule will be available on-site.
7. What does the Improv Class involve?
A. Junior, Teen & Senior dancers ONLY
B. Closed to parents/observers. Teachers and dancers only.
C. No additional charge, included in Convention Class registration.
D. Dancers will start with a combo from class and will then be directed further.
E. Audition Style
F. The top 20 dancers will re-perform at wrap-party. Dancers do not need to be in the top 20 to be eligible to receive scholarships.
8. My studio director will not be in attendance. Can I check-in on my own? Yes, dancers attending without their studio director can pick up their own wristband(s) Friday evening 2:30pm-7pm or Saturday 7am-7:45am .
