The Grand Slam Championship, Awards Gala Friday, June 26th, Red Carpet Reception at 4:45pm and Show begin at 5:45pm: The Gala is a 5-Star party not to be missed! Dress up in your favorite party outfit, “Go Glam for the Slam” and get ready for a fun-filled, star-studded evening. The evening begins with a Red Carpet photo opportunity with Encore judges, and faculty. Mingle with professional entertainers for fun photos and an exciting atmosphere! Sit back and relax as Encore’s top scoring group routines re-compete before an expanded panel of judges for Encore’s 2026 Grand Slam Champions! Prior to the Slam, all scores are set back to zero. Our judging team will no doubt feel your energy and support as you cheer for your team(s) so bring your studio spirit!
Ticket includes: Encore’s “2026 Grand Slam Championship”. Concessions and drinks will be available for purchase at the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
Wristbands required for entry into the gala. Please refer to order name when picking up wristbands. Information on Tickets and Wristband Pickup can be found below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION…Gala Tickets are required for everyone wishing to attend the Grand Slam Gala.
Exact seats may vary and are subject to change. For questions about seating please see Courtney.
**All attendees that would like to watch the Gala will need a ticket: including dancers that wish to watch. The majority of dancers will have time to watch the Gala should they wish purchase a seat in the Arena. There will be absolutely NO SITTING on the floor of the arena during the Gala or congregating along the sides or back of the arena. All attendees MUST be seated.

The Gala will not be live streamed as it is a ticketed event. Alternate viewing options may be available in a “Sold-out” situation.
Does my Dancer need a ticket?
Dancers do not need a ticket to perform in the Gala. A ticket is required to watch the Grand Slam. Any Dancer/Parent/Teacher that would like to watch the Grand Slam, General Admission or Teacher Seating, will need a ticket.
Will there be an alternate viewing option if the Gala sells out?
Alternate viewing options may be established should the Gala sell out.
Are seats and tables assigned at the Gala?
General admission seats, and Teachers seats are assigned. If seated anywhere other than your assigned seat you will be asked to move. Seating arrangement is subject to change.
Are Grand Slam Gala Tickets refundable?
Grand Slam Gala Tickets are non-refundable.
Do I need a Wristband for entry into the Gala?
Yes, wristbands are required for entry into the Gala. You will not be allowed entry without a wristband.
Wristbands can be picked up on-site at the designated pickup times notated above. Please refer to your Order name when picking up wristbands.
If I did not purchase tickets to the Gala will I be able to enter the room for my dancers performance?
A ticket/wristband is required to enter the Grand Slam Gala ballroom. Dancers do not need a ticket to perform and will enter the room prior to their performance and exit immediately following their performance. Dancers and Teachers/Directors ONLY are allowed backstage.
What is the recommended dress code for the Gala?
It is recommended to “Go Glam for the Slam!” But you will see a variety of dress–anything from “Sunday Best” to Prom Gowns.
Does my dancer need to eat before the Gala begins?
Grand Slam Pizza Party Pizza will be provided for all dancers recompeting in the Grand Slam Gala.
Please see the Encore Boutique Thursday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM to pick up your studios pizza tickets.
